mina turns five

Today we celebrated Mina's fifth birthday.

Mina, a small brown and white long-haired chihuahua, sits in front of her birthday meal: a plate of some steak and a small cookie with frosting and sprinkles

She got some steak cooked a bit rare, a cookie given as a present from Bushwick Bark, and a third(!) Lambie toy.

After she ate, we played a bit with her sister, and then we went to the park where she ran in circles.

Being with her is rewarding in a way that I don't feel with most people, even when she misses the pee pad and yellows all the bathroom grout. She's sweet and loyal and tries her best.

I hope she had a nice day.
